IMF revises forecasted economic growth figures.

Here is an interactive global map that highlights future economic growth figures of different economies around the world.  It is interesting to read what is driving the recovery in the US and what the ramifications for Australia will be of China’s slowdown.

It is also interesting how the IMF are on the one hand revising up the UK’s growth forecast and, on the other urging the government to invest more into infrastructure.  Is the austerity programme working to reduce the national debt as well as stimulate economic activity?
